Working with local and regional organisations
Working with local and regional organisations on initiatives designed to further social development.
Once again, the VAPF Group has collaborated with the LUDAI Association (Marina Alta Centre for Child Development and Early Care) in this case, to cover the material needs of the new rooms set up in Benissa, where boys and girls with different disorders and developmental difficulties receive the care they need.
The Child Development and Early Care Centre, CDIAT Marina Alta, deals with children from birth to 6 years of age. During these first years of life, the foundations for optimal learning and development are set, therefore preventing the disorders and conditions to worsen hereby improving the quality of life of the children.
To reach their goals CDIAT offers individual therapeutic treatment, relying on a large team of professionals: educator, psychologist, occupational therapist, speech therapist and paediatric physiotherapist.
The distance between the towns and the transportation difficulties faced by many families meant that the professionals at the centre had to travel to patients' homes to carry out the interventions there, with the extra cost that this implied.
For this reason, and thanks to the agreement reached with the Benissa City Council, which has provided 2 rooms at the Benissa University headquarters, the CDIAT is now closer to 20 families from Benissa, Moraira and Teulada.
At the VAPF Group, we're proud to collaborate towards providing these boys and girls with a future of equality.
